Michael Woodall NICSA Chairman of the Board

At its annual General Membership Meeting, the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA) voted Michael Woodall as the new chairman of its board of directors for the mutual fund industry trade group. Woodall is a managing director and head of mutual fund shareholder services at Putnam Investments. He has been on the NICSA board since 2005 and also serves on the operations committee board for another industry trade group, the Investment Company Institute (ICI).

At the Boston meeting, NICSA also elected Nimish Bhatt as the board's vice chairman. Bhatt is the senior vice president and director of operations at Calamos Investments.

NICSA also named three new board members: Robert Groth of SEI; James Keenan, sevior vice president and investment services department head at State Street Band & Trust; and Anmarie Ciccolo, chief compliance officer for Fidelity's transfer agent.
