Aston Asset Management is close to becoming part of Affiliated Managers Group. The sale of Aston's parent, Highbury Financial, to AMG is anticipated to close on April 15, according to a news release.
The deal was first announced on December 14.
Highbury stockholders approved the transaction at a meeting Monday last week.
