Detroit, Michigan-based Advance Capital Management has launched a new fund, the Cornerstone Stock Fund. This is a large cap growth fund.

It will invest in the top 60 names of the S&P 500 and the top 20 to 40 names in the Nasdaq. Chris Kositz will serve as the portfolio manager.

"Most of our business is based on word-of-mouth. We mostly get referrals, and we have little resources in marketing," Mark LeBlance, portfolio manager and analyst, told the MutualFundWire.com.

"We rely on our performance," he contended. "Our performance tells our story."

Most of the firm's clients work for Ameritech and AT&T. Advance Capital also has an office in Chicago, Illinois.
