UMB Financial subsidiary
Scout Investment Advisors, which operates 10 mutual funds, has embarked on a hunt for a CEO. The executive will report to
Peter DeSilva, president of UMB Financial, a company spokesperson confirmed.
According to a job posting, Scout is looking for a CEO who can help double its AUM in the next five years.
The search comes on the heels of a reorganization this summer. Under the restructuring, Scout Investment Advisors, which had been a subsdiary of UMB Bank, became a unit of UMB Financial.
Also this summer, Scout acquired the investment advisory business of
TrendStar Advisors, a deal that added two mutual funds to Scout's lineup.
