Paul Riley runs Fidelity's mutual fund supermarket,
whose aisles are stocked with more than 16,000 funds. Launched in 1993,
a year after Schwab debuted its OneSource platform,
Fidelity FundsNetwork offers more than 4,500 no-transaction-fee funds to advisors and more than 1,500 NTF funds to retail investors. At the end of the second quarter, the program had more than $610 billion in third-party mutual fund assets.
Riley has been in his current role since April 2004. Prior to that, he spent three years as vice president of marketing for Insurance.com, a
Fidelity Capital Company.
He started his career with Fidelity in 1996 as a product manager
in the Retail FundsNetwork unit, rising to become vice president for the
division in 1998.
