Schooner Investment Group is expanding its sales team as it approaches
the first anniversary of its debut mutual fund.
John Kelly, managing director of the private client group, told
The MFWire that the Radnor, Pennsylvania-based firm is looking to fill three external wholesaler posts
that will cover New York/Connecticut, Texas and Atlanta.
"We're looking for people who have wholesaling experience in the industry, preferably with contacts within the independent channel," Kelly said.
At present, Schooner has six external wholesalers who pitch the
Schooner Growth and Income Fund and separately managed accounts.

Greg Levinson said the firm is preparing an "aggressive marketing push" around the
anniversary of the Schooner Growth and Income Fund, which came into being in August of last year.
