Allianz Shuts a Small-Cap Fund to Most Investors

Allianz Global Investors is closing its NFJ Small-Cap Value Fund to most investors effective August 31, according to an SEC filing last week. Only participants in a "specified benefit plan" that offers the fund may continue to purchase or exchange the fund's shares.
