Reported by Ann Walker

There's a new regional marketer at Fred Alger & Company. The New York-based asset manager recently revealed the hiring of Jire Baran to fill a brand new post as vice president, regional marketing manager for Alger's Southern California region. Baran will focus on expanding and developing relationships with financial advisors.

The hiring follows the addition (downloadable pdf) last month of John Fennessy as vice president and regional marketing manager for Florida and Georgia and the addition (downloadable pdf) of Matthew Klimek as vice president and director of regional marketing associates for the firm.
