Fundsters at

OppenheimerFunds and
RiverSource may all want to take a look at Thursday's
Fund Spy column.
Morningstar's Andrew Gogerty chastises (and Sam Mamudi picks up on the column in the
Wall Street Journal's Friday
Fund Track) all three fund firms for various stewardship bungles. Gogerty calls out Am Century for replacing
JPMorgan Asset Management as sub-advisor to the
American Century International Bond fund without really saying why (see
MFWire, 1/13/2009. OppFunds draws flak for painful performance in
Champion Income and
Core Bond, and RiverSource lands a rebuke thanks to a one-time 16 basis-point fee charged to
Seligman fund shareholders to cover switching to the
Ameriprise unit's transfer agent.
