Two new money market funds are on the way from Pimco. Bloomberg's Miles Weiss reports that the Newport Beach, California-based fixed income specialists filed last week to launch the Treasury Money Market and Government Money Market funds, to be managed by Short-Term Fund manager Paul McCulley. Bloomberg puts the move in the context of the 25-percent increase in money fund assets last year.
