David Guinta,Natixis Global Associates' president and CEO, is taking on additional duties. Guinta, a Fidelity alum who took the top job at Boston-based Natixis Global Associates in January, will also serve as president CEO of Natixis Funds Trusts and Hansberger International Series, president of Loomis Sayles II and executive vice president of Loomis Sayles Funds.
Meanwhile, five Natixis executives received promotions, including national sales manager Matthew Raynor, who was elevated to executive vice president.

BOSTON (April 3, 2008) – Natixis Global Associates today announced several key promotions across the organization. These roles reinforce the firm’s continued expansion and its growing position in the global financial marketplace.
Beatriz Pina Smith was promoted to executive vice president, chief financial officer. She oversees the financial operations of both the domestic and international distributors and is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, sales and compensation analysis, business planning, risk management, and facilities. Ms. Pina Smith joined Natixis Global Associates in 1992 from Ernst and Young, where she specialized in the financial services industry. Ms. Pina Smith is a CPA and a Financial and Operations Principal. She holds a B.A. from College of the Holy Cross.
Coleen Downs Dinneen has been promoted to executive vice president, general counsel. Ms. Dinneen leads the legal and compliance department that services a registered investment adviser, a limited purpose broker-dealer, and the affiliate investment companies, the Natixis Funds and Loomis Sayles Funds and Hansberger International Series. Ms. Dinneen joined Natixis Global Associates in 1999 as associate general counsel and served as deputy general counsel from 2001 until September 2004. Before joining the organization, she was counsel at First Data Investor Services, Inc. (now PFPC) and vice president of Scudder, Stevens & Clark. Ms. Dinneen earned a B.S. from the University of Northern Colorado and earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
Caren Leedom was promoted to executive vice president, global communications. In this role, she oversees all marketing communications functions for Natixis Global Associates and is responsible for the development and execution of the global communications strategy for Natixis Global Asset Management. She originally joined the company in 1977 and has served in senior management roles in the service center, operations and marketing. Most recently, Ms. Leedom was senior vice president, marketing communications for Natixis Global Associates.
Matt Coldren was promoted to executive vice president, Global Relationships. He oversees the Global Relationships team, which is responsible for all firm distribution and product relationships. He joined the company in 2004 from MFS Investment Management, where he was vice president and national account manager. He was previously a vice president and relationship manager with Delaware Investments. Mr. Coldren received his BS from Fairfield University and his MBA from Drexel University, LeBow School of Business.
Matthew Raynor has been promoted to executive vice president, National Sales Manager, with responsibility for distribution in the United States. He joined the company in 2004 as Managing Regional Director in the Ohio/Indiana region. In 2005, he was named Western Division Sales Manager and in 2006, assumed the role of National Sales Director. Prior to joining Natixis Global Associates, Mr. Raynor was a regional representative in Ohio for Eaton Vance. During his 16 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Raynor’s responsibilities have included sales management and wholesale distribution and marketing of asset management services to a number of different channels, including wirehouses, banks and insurance companies. Mr. Raynor received his B.A. from the University of Dayton.
Additionally, David Giunta, president and chief executive officer of Natixis Global Associates, has been elected to leadership positions with several of the company’s funds. He will now serve as president and chief executive officer of Natixis Funds Trusts and Hansberger International Series, president of Loomis Sayles Funds II and executive vice president of Loomis Sayles Funds.
Mr. Giunta joined Natixis Global Associates in January from Fidelity Investments, where he was president of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund. He was previously senior vice president of Investor Centers, Eastern Region responsible for overall management of 55 branches. In his tenure with Fidelity he has also served as vice president for Fidelity Personal Investments and Brokerage Group and director of new business development at Fidelity Institutional Services Company. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Giunta was assistant vice president for product development at Putnam Investments and an analyst at Bank of Boston. Mr. Giunta is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College and an MBA from Boston College.
