Fund families have a new contact at Morningstar. According to a spokeswoman for the Chicago-based firm, Karen Dolan, formerly a senior analyst on the mutual fund staff and lead analyst on the Morgan Stanley, Janus, and Marsico fund families, has been director of fund analysis.

Christine Benz, formerly the director fund analysis, has been promoted to director of personal finance. She will be the editor of Morningstar Practical Finance and will also be in charge of personal-finance content on Morningstar.com.
