Congress has greenlighted a bill that would provide a shield to mutual funds, pension funds, state and local governments from investor lawsuits if they unload shares of firms doing business in Sudan,
Reuters reported.
The House of Representatives approved the bill with a 411-0 vote. The measure, which has already been approved by the Senate, is now going to the President.
