In his syndicated column for MarketWatch yesterday, Chuck Jaffe assured investors that the "fast and loose" days the mutual fund industry saw back in the Fall of 2003 were indeed over. A conversation with Avi Nachmany of Strategic Insight seems to have been the catalyst for this realization. Nachmany told Jaffe that the problems in the industry that led to the scandal are now gone along with the warning signs that preceded the problems.
