A Pittsford, New York-based investment advisor is jumping into the mutual fund business with a no-load fund. Ralph Parks Investment Group took the wraps off its First Cyclical Equity Fund this week.

The investment advisor was founded by Ralph Parks last November. Parks will act as the portfolio manager for the fund, which is the advisor's first. He will use a technical investment strategy that he has followed for the last 14 years with his clients.

"Launching the Ralph Parks Cyclical Equity Fund was the next logical step for us," said Parks, "We are committed to our goal of providing consistent performance year after year through our proprietary quantitative stock selection process. The uniqueness of the fund is that its cyclical nature allows added diversification and the ability to short if economic conditions warrant."

The fund will be sold through registered investment advisors stated Gina Griffo, executive vice president of RPIG.
