A large financial company has built an addition to its Web site especially for women, and the new pages include information on the offerings of a well-known fund company.

MassMutual representatives say the content, unveiled Monday and located at www.massmutual.com/women, is targeted at women's particular demands and concerns. As a MassMutual subsidiary, OppenheimerFunds is the focus of the site's mutual funds link.

It's not the first overture OppenheimerFunds and MassMutual have made to the female market. Together they sponsor a program that publicizes women in sports; MassMutual also sponsors the Executive Women's Golf Association, a women's triathlon series, and women's professional organizations.
