A top
Voya Investment Management executive is leaving after decades with the company and its predecessor organizations.
Shaun Matthews, senior managing director and head of the client group at Voya IM, is retiring this spring from the New York City-based asset manager "after a career that spans almost 40 years at Voya," company spokesman Kris Kagel confirms. Matthews reports to
Christine Hurtsellers, CEO of Voya IM.
"As head of the Client Group, Shaun led the growth of our intermediary and institutional channels and oversaw marketing and product development efforts. Shaun is a trusted advisor with unique knowledge and skill in collaborating across IM and Voya more broadly," Kagel tells
MFWire. "Going forward, his duties will be assumed by other members of the Client Group."
Meanwhile, effective July 10
Dina Santoro, senior managing director and head of product and marketing strategy, will
replace Matthews in a different role, as a trustee on the boards for several Voya IM funds. Santoro
joined Voya IM in September, reporting to Matthews.
