DoubleLine Capital and its CEO
Jeff Gundlach have brought aboard another former
TCW employee.
Earl Lariscy, who most recently served
Barclays Capital as a director and agency general manager in LA, has joined DoubleLine as the company's legal counsel. Gundlach also welcomed
Henry Chase in the position of controller.
Lariscy served as counsel at TCW three years ago, where he was responsible for structuring and launching funds and other investment vehicles.
As the company's new legal counsel, Lariscy is sure to be busy at DoubleLine. If not in relation to the ongoing, but currently dormant, suit between DoubleLine CEO
Jeff Gundlach and TCW, then because of his experience launching funds, which DoubleLine is expected to do more of in the coming months.
Henry Chase was a partner in the Southern California practice of
Tatum, LLC
before joining DoubleLine. Chase reports to chief financial officer Joseph Sullivan, a DoubleLine spokesperson confirmed.
Correction: This version of the story has an updated definition of Lariscy's duties while he was at TCW.
