XShares To Launch ETF Based On Carbon Emission Allowances

XShares Advisors is getting in the carbon credits game. The company has filed papers with the SEC to launch the AirShares EU Carbon Allowances Fund. The fund will invest in futures on carbon emission allowances, or EUAs, under the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme.
