Global Wellington Fund and
Global Wellesley Income Fund
On July 26, Vanguard
launched the
Global Wellington Fund and
Global Wellesley Income Fund in order to expand its balanced fund family.
Wellington Management Company LLC will serve was the investment advisor for the funds.
The
Global Wellington Fund is designed to provide long-term capital appreciation and moderate income though a globally diversified portfolio investing in both equities and fixed income securities. It will allocate 65 percent of its assets in equities and 35 percent of its assets in fixed income securities.
The
Global Wellesley Income Fund is the inverse of the Global Wellington Fund, designed to have a more conservative structure by investing 65 percent of its assets into fixed income securities and 35 percent into equities in order to generate a high and sustainable level of current income.

Structural Changes:
Equinox Chesapeake Strategy Fund
On July 26, the
Equinox Chesapeake Strategy Fund changed its principal investment strategy and modified its fees. It will now obtain exposure to the flagship managed futures trading program of
Chesapeake Capital Corporation. Chesapeake is now a sub-advisor to the Fund and Equinox, as an advisor, will be paid 150 bps annually.

Partnership: Sustainability Collaboration
On July 24, Morningstar
acquired a 40 percent ownership stake in Sustainalytics, a global provider of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research and ratings. This direct investment represents an expansion in their sustainability collaboration which started in August 2015 and is a milestone for Morningstars' long-term sustainability strategy to deliver high quality and innovative ESG products and services.
