Deufetel will also become the firms' treasurer and CFO in the first quarter of 2018. Dufetel will replace Ken Moreland, who is retiring after 14 years of service for the firm. Moreland will continue to serve as CFO until the firm files its official 10-k for the 2017 fiscal year in February 2018. Prior to assuming this role, Dufetel served as partner and head of the North American asset management practice and McKinsey & Co.. ***
Company: John Hancock Retirement Plan Services Appointment: Nick McParland On September 1, McParland will become the new national sales manager for John Hancocks Retirement Plan Services' Mid, Large and Taft-Hartley Markets. McParland is expected to create new business relationships across the country and boost national sales. He will report to Scott Francolini, senior vice president of strategic relationship management. Prior to assuming this position, McParland served as Hancocks' national director for the Taft-Hartley market. ***
