Friday, June 24, 2005 SEC Probes Janus' Bay Isle Unit Janus is responding to an SEC document request regarding its institutional manager Bay Isle Financial, the fund firm disclosed in a Friday filing. Janus said it received the SEC request on March 16 after staff raised issues in a "deficiency letter resulting from a routine examination of Bay Isle in March 2004." Janus is currently responding to the document request. Bay Isle manages institutional money and subadvises Janus funds.
