Contrarian to Manage New Scudder Fund

David Dreman, contrarian investor, author and portfolio manager, will co-manage a fourth Scudder Investments fund called the Scudder-Dreman Concentrated Value Fund, according to a press release.

Jeffrey Peng will co-manage the fund.

Dreman also manages the Scudder-Dreman High Return Equity Fund, the Scudder-Dreman Financial Services Fund and the Scudder-Dreman Small Cap Value Fund.

Dreman and Peng will look for 20 to 25 companies that are undervalued because they're "temporarily out of favor with the market." The managers will screen for strong financials, high earnings growth and high dividends.

Class A shares of the fund are 125 basis points, Class B shares are 200, and Class C shares are 190 basis points, according to the fund's prospectus.
