Thursday, June 9, 2005 Mellon Eyes More Private Wealth Buys Mellon Financial has snapped up a few private wealth managers in the past few years, and it looks like it will continue that strategy, reports Reuters. "Our aspirations are to continue to look at some of the geographic areas we are not in," said Steven Elliott, Mellon vice chairman, at an asset management conference on Wednesday.
