OppFunds Join Asset Allocation Fund Parade

Asset allocation launches remain hot with OppenheimerFunds the latest to roll out its version of the product. Its newest funds fall into the "lifestyle" category and target different risk tolerances.

The four funds are: Oppenheimer Conservative Investor Fund, Oppenheimer Moderate Investor Fund, Oppenheimer Active Allocation Fund and Oppenheimer Aggressive Investor Fund.

Thomas Keffer, senior vice president and director of Product Management said the funds-of-funds will provide broad exposure to the firm's registered products.

"Our independent team approach produces unique investment ideas that translate into low securities overlap from fund to fund. Very few asset allocation funds can offer all the components we have and, as a result, we believe these funds have the ability to weather all types of market conditions," said Keffer.

Each Fund requires a minimum initial investment of $1,000 or $500 for a retirement account. The series of funds is available across all OppenheimerFunds retirement products including rollover IRAs.
