Tuesday, March 1, 2005 Franklin Templeton Settling with Canadian Regulators Franklin-Templeton Investments Corp. has reached an initial settlement with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) over allegations that it allowed improper market-timing trades. The fund firm is a unit of Franklin Resources. The OSC, which is the primary fund regulator in Canada, said it would consider the settlement at a hearing on Thursday.
