Monday, February 14, 2005 Gabelli Hires SSRM Manager Gabelli Asset Management has hired Lawrence J. Haverty, Jr. as an associate portfolio manager of its Global Multimedia Trust fund. Haverty will report directly to Mario Gabelli, CEO. Prior to joining Gabelli, Haverty was a managing director for consumer discretionary research at State Street Research, (now owned by BlackRock).
