Fifth Subadvisor Aboard AAdvantage Fund

AMR Investments, the advisor to the American AAdvantage Fund family, has brought on a fifth subadvisor for the $2 billion American AAdvantage Small Cap Value Fund.

Cincinnati, Ohio-based Opus Capital Management joins Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss, Brandywine Asset Management, Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management, and The Boston Company Asset Management as subadvisor to the fund.

AMR brought on the Mellon Financial-subsidiary The Boston Company in September 2004.

The two subadvisor additions are apparently not enough to handle the flows; AMR also announced that the Small Cap Value Fund will close to new investors at day's end on Friday.
