Friday, January 7, 2005 Bright Lights for State Street? State Street Corp. wants to see its name in bright lights. The Boston-based manager is working with the Boston Redevelopment Agency to get its name on the new building where it is headquartered, on One Lincoln Street, reports the Boston Globe. State Street previously had its name emblazoned on its old headquarters at 225 Franklin Street, one of two buildings in Boston's downtown that had a rooftop sign. That's because both buildings got their signs up before the code. Edward O'Brien was named treasurer of State Street Corp.
