Heartland Reopens Value Fund

Heartland Advisors has reopened its 20-year old Value Fund to new investors. The $1.8 billion fund was reopened on December 28.

"With strong corporate profits, solid balance sheets and low interest rates, we believe this is the right investment environment to re-open the Fund while continuing to serve the best interest of our long-term shareholders," stated officials in a release.
