Friday, November 12, 2004 More Wholesalers Hit the Road with Blackberrys Manulife Financial's variable annuity wholesalers can now access CRM data through Blackberrys, thanks to a deal the company signed with Waltham, Massachusetts-based software provider Pyxis. Wholesalers using Pyxis' mWholesaler software on wireless Blackberry devices have access data housed by Manulife's Siebel CRM system and corporate and product information. A Manulife spokesperson did not return a call seeking comment on whether the company's John Hancock fund wholesalers would begin using mWholesaler. "We are looking to increase the functionality over time," said John Egbert, national sales manager of the annuity sales force.
