Thursday, October 28, 2004 Lord Abbett Lives Large Lord Abbett is expanding the investment focus of its $422 million Large-Cap Research Fund. Managers will now invest in all large-capitalization companies, instead of value large-capitalization holdings. The fund's name will be changed to the Large-Cap Core Fund. "A blend of value and growth will broaden the universe of potential stocks available for investment in the Fund…and will potentially help to smooth the fluctuations in returns caused by natural shifts in the value/growth cycle over the long run," stated Daria Foster, partner and director of institutional services at Lord Abbett.
