Thursday, September 2, 2004 Columbia Names Head of Funds Bank of America's money management arm, Columbia Management, has named a new head of mutual funds. Christopher Wilson now leads the fund group, which includes Nations Funds, Columbia Funds and Columbia Acorn funds. Wilson takes over from Kevin Connaughton, who will now report to Wilson and be responsible for fund administration, accounting, and compliance, said Charles Salmans, Columbia spokesman. Wilson was president and chief executive officer of CDC IXIS Asset Management Services. Wilson reports to Keith Banks is president of Columbia Asset Management.
