Thursday, August 19, 2004 SEC Deputy Director Departs Cynthia Fornelli, deputy director of the SEC's Division of Investment Management, will leave the agency in September to join the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Bank of America. Fornelli will be the senior vice president and compliance executive for Securities Regulation and Conflicts Management at the bank. The SEC has not yet found a replacement for Fornelli, said SEC spokesman John Heine. Paul Roye is the director of the Division of Investment Management.
