Fidelity Intros New Advisor Fund

Fidelity is adding another bond fund for advisors, bringing its total number of investment-grade bond funds for advisors to 13.

Managed by Kevin Grant, the Advisor Total Bond Fund will invest at least 80 percent of assets investment grade, high-yield and emerging markets debt securities. Two sub-portfolio managers will cover the high-yield and emerging markets portions of the fund.

"The fund should appeal to income-oriented investors who want a fund with more investment flexibility than a pure investment grade bond fund," said Marty Willis, executive vice president, Fidelity Investment Institutional Services Company.
