NYLIM Recruits Three Regional Wholesalers

Responding to market growth, New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) has reorganized their sales territory for retail investments. As part of the redrawing of the lines, the company hired three additional regional wholesalers.

Robert Baker, Daniel O'Donnell and Michael Miller were named regional vice presidents of NYLIM Retail Sales. As regional VPs, they will sell NYLIM's retail products including MainStay Funds, separately managed acccounts and 529 plans to broker-dealers.

The three report to Peter Moeller, managing director.

Baker will target national, regional and independent broker-dealers in Ohio. Baker was formerly a regional wholesaler at BlackRock Funds. A spokesperson did not immediately return a call seeking comment on his replacement.

O'Donnell will work with national and regional broker-dealers in Western Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Pioneer Investments spokeswoman Tara Pescatore said that O'Donnell, a former regional vice president, left the firm on May 16 and had been replaced by Paul de Maio.

Miller covers national, regional and independent broker-dealers in the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.

A Victory spokeswoman declined to comment on Miller, a former regional sales director at the company.
