Friday, July 16, 2004 US Global Goes Global U.S. Global Investors filed a registration for a new Emerging Markets Fund under its Accolade family. Andrew Wiles and Stefan Bottcher of Charlemagne Capital Limited, a UK-based firm, will co-manage the fund. U.S. Global Investors has one other emerging markets fund, its $173.9 million Eastern Europe fund, also managed by Charlemagne. Officials did not list any list management or total operating expenses in the filing, but 12b-1 distribution fees for the fund will be 0.25 percent of assets.
