Monday, June 21, 2004 Vanguard Bulks Up Investor Tools Vanguard rolled out five additional online research tools for fund investors, the firm announced on Monday. The tools have already been integrated to the fund firm's website. Two tools make comparison of Vanguard funds with its competitors easier on investors: a familiar looking nine square "style box" based on investment strategy and size and a tool that lists Vanguard equivalents to non-Vanguard funds. Investors can more easily compare funds within Vanguard's family with a graphical tool that plots three Vanguard funds and one benchmark over one-, five- and ten-year periods. Vanguard also added two calculators that compute dollar income from specific investments and tax-equivalent yields from bond funds.
