Manning & Napier Sticks With Outsourcer

Manning & Napier Advisors, Inc. renewed their relationship with BISYS, signing a new multi-year contract for fund services.

BISYS provides fund accounting and transfer agency services to the Manning & Napier Advisors’ mutual funds; Exeter Fund, Inc.; and the Exeter Trust Company Collective Investment Funds.

Financial Research Corporation, a BISYS subsidiary, does research and analysis for the funds, which have a combined $1.44 billion in assets.

BISYS began its relationship with Manning & Napier in 2000, providing transfer agency services. Over the years, the relationship expanded to include fund accounting, administration and compliance services.

Jylanne Dunne, executive vice president of client services for BISYS Fund Services, declined to comment on the renewal process, but said that most of their clients conduct thorough due diligence before renewing contracts.
