Cove Honors a 35Y Ally to Fundsters

The folks at a 54-year-old mutual fund industry trade group are celebrating a 35-year veteran of the organization and a key leader.

Kimber Lintz
Investment Management Education Alliance
Executive Director
Last week, at the 2025 IMEA Leadership Summit at Invesco's New York City offices, Jim Cove, chair of the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA) and executive vice president and head of U.S. marketing at Natixis Investment Managers, presented Kimber Lintz with the 2025 IMEA Lifetime Achievement Award. Kansas City, Missouri-based Lintz is the longtime executive director of IMEA and a relationship manager at Fuse Research Network.

Cove lauds Lintz for the latter's "leadership, energy, and unwavering commitment."

"Her ability to evolve the organization alongside the industry — and to foster a strong sense of community among member firms — has left an enduring legacy," Cove states.

Lintz is the second IMEA Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Bob Geppner of Ave Maria won IMEA's first such award at their 2024 IMEA Star Awards celebration.

Lintz joined the 19-year-old No-Load Mutual Fund Association in 1990, the year it rebranded as the Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA). (She also joined Smith Group, which preceeded Fuse in running the trade group.) During her tenure, MFEA launched their flagship Star Awards in the 1990s (they recently hosted their 29th annual dinner and celebration), rebranded as IMEA in 2018, and shifted from Smith to Fuse in 2023. Earlier, Lintz worked with George K. Baum & Company, NKH&W, and Fleishman-Hillard.
