Wednesday, October 22, 2025 Blending Quants and Fundamentals, a $659B-AUM AM Adds 2 ETFs The folks at a 101-year-old, $658.7-billion-AUM* fund firm in Massachusetts are expanding their ETF lineup to eight by adding a pair of funds powered by a blend of fundamental and quantitative perspectives.
BRIE and BRCE's commencment date is today. BRCE comes with an expense ratio of 24 basis points and now has $20.2 million in AUM. BRIE's expense ratio is 34bps, and it now has $14.95 million in AUM. The same four-person PM team from MFS' quantitative solutions group powers both BRIE and BRCE. The four portfolio managers are: The MFS team notes that they first entered the quant space 24 years ago and that the Blended Research strategies (including several mutual funds) from MFS now have about $21 billion in combined AUM.
