Tuesday, March 23, 2004 Special Agent to Lead DTCC Security Steve H. Carey was named vice president of Security at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. Steve Carey will oversee internal security and build relationships with agencies involved in governing financial markets and infrastructure. He will report to Kevin Carey, managing director, Human Resources, Training, Corporate Services and Security. Steve Carey comes to DTCC from the U.S. Secret Service, where he worked for more than 20 years, most recently as Special Agent in Charge of the New York Office. "Steve held one of the top ranking positions in the U.S. Secret Services as Special Agent in Charge of the New York Office and brings great expertise and experience to this position,” said Kevin Carey. “His work also helped him develop an in-depth understanding of the U.S. financial market and its infrastructure, which ideally prepares him for his work at DTCC."
