Monday, May 22, 2023 Week In Preview, May 22 - May 29 Happy International Day For Biological Diversity!
Also today, the U.S. team at Women in ETFs (WE) will host their 9th annual breakfast at InsideETFs, at the Diplomat. Tomorrow, the team at the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) will host their U.S. golf tournament at Beacon Hill Country Club in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. Also tomorrow, starting at 5pm mountain, the team at the Denver chapter of WE will host an "Empowerment & Skills Workshop" at the University of Denver's College of Business. Tomorrow, the team at the Investment Company Institute (ICI) will kick off their 2023 ICI Leadership Summit. The three-day event will be held at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C. On Wednesday, the ALFI team will bring their U.S. roadshow to New York City for a morning event at the New York Athletic Club. On Thursday, they'll bring the event to Boston, to Brown Brothers Harriman's offices. Also on Wednesday, starting at 2pm eastern, the Nicsa team will host a webinar, entitled "How Empowering Families Harnesses DEI in the Workplace." The folks at the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA) have postponed their DE&I Roundtable. (The event was previously was scheduled for Wednsesday at Natixis' offices in Boston.) Also on Wednesday, starting at 5:30pm eastern, the folks at the Boston chapter of WE will team up with those at the CFA Society Boston, Boston Women in Finance, Women in Investing: Network & Supporting, Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy, the women's initiative of the Massachusetts Financial Planning Association, and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, will host their spring joint networking event, on the back patio of Tia's Boston Waterfront. On Thursday, the Expert Series team will host the ETP Forum at the New York Athletic Club. MFWire will be closed next Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. This week, on the defined contribution side of the industry, the teams at CalSavers, DCIIA, ERIC, Fi360, Financial Finesse, Lincoln, PSCA, and WIPN are hosting events.
