Friday, March 31, 2023 American Century Floats Another Income ETF The team at at a $211-billion-AUS (as of February 28), Midwestern asset manager is rolling out another actively managed ETF that focuses on income. On March 16, Sandra Testani, vice president of ETF product and strategy at American Century Investments [profile], unveiled the launch of the American Century Multisector Floating Income ETF (FUSI on the NYSE Arca). The new fund's inception date was March 14, and it is a series of the American Century ETF Trust. FUSI comes with an expense ratio of 27 basis points. American Century Investment Management, Inc. serves as FUSI's investment advisor, and American Century Services, LLC serves as administrator. The new fund's PM team includes: Jason Greenblath, vice president and senior portfolio manager; Charles Tan, senior vice president and co-chief investment officer of global fixed income; and Peter Van Gelderen, vice president and senior portfolio manager. "FUSI compliments our current ETF income offerings, Short Duration Strategic Income ETF (SDSI) and American Century Multisector Income ETF (MUSI), by adding a floating rate product to the suite that is primarily focused on high credit quality," Testani states. "We believe a diversified floating rate mandate has the potential to mitigate downside risk and increase income." The new fund's other service providers include: Deloitte & Touche as independent accounting firm; Foreside Fund Services, LLC as distributor; and State Street Bank and Trust Company as custodian, securities lending agent, sub-administrator, and transfer agent.
