More Than 8,000 Fundsters In Eight Years

An eight-year-old, international trade group recently surpassed a big milestone.

Emily Meyer
Northern Trust Asset Management
Senior National Accounts Manager
Last week, Tammy Cash (head of marketing in the Americas for Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. and co-head of Women in ETFs' Canada branch), Debbie Fuhr (managing partner and founder of ETFGI and co-president of Women in ETFs' EMEA branch), Emily Meyer (senior national accounts manager at Northern Trust Asset Management and co-president of Women in ETFs' U.S. branch), and Rebecca Sin (head of ETF research in Asia for Bloomberg Intelligence and co-president of Women in ETFs' Asia Pacific branch) confirmed that Women In ETFs now has more than 8,000 members around the world. That includes more than 4,400 members across nine chapters here in the U.S. alone. And the group is sponsored by 48 companies.

"We are so proud of how far our organization has come since its inception in 2014," Meyer states. "We have been able to make a significan impact in our industry while working to strengthen our mission and support the professional growth of our members."

Next year, watch for Women in ETFs to launch a tenth U.S. chapter, in Los Angeles. (They already have chapters in Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., plus an 11-state southern chapter.) Also next year, they'll launch an India chapter, and they're working on a Montreal chapter.
