Two Firms Announce Educational Alliance

AdvisorCentral, a firm specializing in business building options for financial advisors and broker-dealers, and Acadient, Inc., a developer and distributor of online education, have announced a new alliance to distribute Acadient's educational courses through AdvisorCentral's Web site.

Through the alliance, AdvisorCentral will offer more than 100 courses, including the Boston University Online Program for Financial Planners and a new course on financial services sales. The programs will be available next month.

Some of the other courses available include:
  • A new Acadient sales course for financial advisors and broker-dealers—on identifying quality leads, converting leads into prospects, and turning prospects into customers. A 25% discount will be applied to the four-hour course during the first 90 days it is available.

  • More than 100 continuing education modules, including the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Practice Standards. Other classes will address topics ranging from mutual funds and retirement to tax planning.

  • The Boston University Online Program for Financial Planners—consisting of six online courses that fulfill the education requirement to sit for the CFP certification examination.

  • The Keir Online CFP Certification Examination Review Course.
