Former Fidelity honcho Robert Pozen will take a seat on the Bank of New York's board of directors on March 8. The one time vice chairman at Fidelity Investments and president of Fidelity Management & Research Company was elected to the board this week.

Pozen is currently the John Olin Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, where he teaches law and business courses on corporate governance and financial institutions.
