The teams at Great Place to Work and Fortune have unveiled the 2022 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women lists. One list includes 100 large workplaces, while the other includes 25 small and medium workplaces. This year's lists are based on confidential survey responses from nearly 1.2 million employees, including more than 640,000 women, from Great Place to Work certified companies. (Certification involves conducting an employee experience survey and filling out a company culture and workforce questionnaire.)

In the mutual fund business, companies on the 2022 list of large workplaces include: Nationwide at rank 39, Edward Jones (home of Bridge Builder Funds) at 45; and Baird at rank 70.

According to the Great Place to Work team, companies on the list "create the most consistently positive experience and opportunities for all women, regardless of their role or demographic background."
