Thursday, August 25, 2022 AUM Falls 12 Percent At Traditional AMs Last quarter was another rough one fundsters' firms.
"Though AUM declines predominantly came from the market downturn, asset flows in the quarter for most firms were either flat or slightly negative," the Casey Quirk team writes. Traditional managers' revenue also fell eight percent in Q2 2022, after a seven-percent Q1 2022 drop. And expenses fell six percent year-over-year (though non-compensation expenses rose three percent Y/Y). Yet alts shops saw revenue and expenses rise in Q1. (though their valuation multiples fell closer to those of traditional asset managers). Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=64787 Copyright 2022, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
