A Lone Star Fund Firm Adds New Online Flavor

The team at a Lone Star asset manager has recently unveiled a newly-formatted website, updates to which include a number of resources such as a newsletter and advisory articles.

Earlier this month, the folks at San Antonio, Texas-based U.S. Global Investors released word that their site had been revamped to reflect new tools available from the company.

A spokesperson for U.S. Global did not return calls or an email for comment.

When a user accesses their account on the U.S. Global Investors website, they will now see a tab for Frank Talk articles, which includes discussions on inflation and cryptocurrency, and another tab for the company's Investor Alert newsletter.

In a statement put together by the team, they note that they "hope [to provide] an enhanced, user-friendly experience."

U.S. Global is helmed by Frank E. Holmes, CEO, who has held a controlling interest in the company since 1989. Originally formed as an investment club in 1968, the company soon afterwards became a registered investment advisor. The firm now offers mutual funds and ETFs.
